It appears everytime Ben Bernanke opens up about his opinions the market has a bad day. Can anyone explain why his influence is so great even after he has stepped down and retired. Personally I can’t tell that he retired.
Richard (von) Sternberg is most famous for his appearance on the IDC propaganda film “Expelled:No Intelligence Allowed”. He’s a minor taxonomic database administrator of marine crustaceans who was let go from an unpaid position at the Smithsonian for his handling of an pro-ID publication. Now he’s stepped into a major blunder in a blog post on Evolution News and Views, and the coverup is particularly disgusting. It reveals him for the denialist he really is. Rather than simply correcting his numbers, admitting a mistake, and restating, he attempts to clumsily obfuscate the issue. It simply demonstrates how far Sternberg has fallen from the best practices of science, a field that does not tolerate obfuscation. Sternberg joins the ranks of the other former-scientist-turned-denialists such as Peter Duesberg, Michael Behe, and Frederick Seitz.
