HIV/AIDS and African American Women
Posted by admin · 26 Comments
HIV/AIDS-related conditions are now the leading cause of death for African American women aged 25-34 years. African American women account for 66% of the new HIV infections. They are more likely to die than non-Hispanic white women. Recent CDC data show that the main risk factors for most HIV/AIDS diagnoses among African Americans females are high-risk heterosexual contact and as with all racial and ethnic groups, African Americans at higher risk for HIV are those who are unaware of their partner’s risk factors, have other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and have unprotected anal and vaginal intercourse. Now you are aware, so be responsible with yourself and do not wait any longer. Get HIV tested.

trust me. black women and especially heterosexual black men are not listening to this. but at the same time black male heterosexual culture seems to increasingly praise black hetereosexual male promiscuity and not monogomy. on top of this condom use is not happening. black male resistence once again to that despite the culture of having multiple partners and justifying it. black women are at very high risk from their partners. and most of them are totally unaware. it’s very sad.
lol booty-shakin hoes with AIDS
lol no its not…black women are sluts, thats whats causing this
and how many black women have you slept with?
The only thing I do agree with that the devil is doing and that is killing my ugly monkey face black self racist sistas. Go Satan, Fuck you hoes burn in hell
Much of this also has to do with the black social networks. The reality is far too many black girls are exposed to HIV by sleeping with black males that are in and out of prison. The prison population has a very high rate of HIV.
It’s imperative that black women choose partners outside of the black community, it’s also imperative for black girls/women to insist on condom usage.
