HIV/AIDS and African American Women
Posted by admin · 26 Comments
HIV/AIDS-related conditions are now the leading cause of death for African American women aged 25-34 years. African American women account for 66% of the new HIV infections. They are more likely to die than non-Hispanic white women. Recent CDC data show that the main risk factors for most HIV/AIDS diagnoses among African Americans females are high-risk heterosexual contact and as with all racial and ethnic groups, African Americans at higher risk for HIV are those who are unaware of their partner’s risk factors, have other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and have unprotected anal and vaginal intercourse. Now you are aware, so be responsible with yourself and do not wait any longer. Get HIV tested.

@padestrian oh dont let satan get all the hoes what about ous? We love hoes
and hitler ftw noob
@graduategirlie for black women who love black people and believe in keeping up the fight instead of screwing with other ethnic groups, it is imperative that we fight the unfair crack laws that are racist and stop trying black people in front of juries that are not their peers. This would more than halfen the black prison population. IRD is not the answer, it is indeed genocide thru self ethnic cleansing and has not benefited blacks nowhere on Earth.
@justjules if this is not seriously addressed we are doomed. There is 1 cure to AIDS. Get tested, get to know your partner, sign a prenup that says he owes his wife half his money should he cheat or they get a divorce,n get married, and stay faithful to 1 another. Those things are what us blacks act as if we are completely incapable of doing. Its called commitment and decency. and no amount of blaming is gonna solve anything
i also presume they have to rely on black women getting tested as they are more likely to do this where as a campaign to get black men to get tested would be met with total resistence.
but it keeps spreading sexually why? does it have anything to do with sexual practices and habits? lack of education? culture? taboos? relations between genders? can a black or hispanic wife insist that her husband use a condom to protect herself from infection? does she feeled empowered? black women don’t seem to have much control or rights or cooperation from their men. it’s a very male dominant culture. one where men dictate what happens sexually and are not monogomous in relationships.
